"from the stable to the dish"
A guided visit to a big chianina stable, to have a better knowledge of the principal secrets of “The Giant of the cows” and to taste the unforgettable flavour of the chianina beef!
The program includes:
A) VISITOF THE STABLE
at the entrance of the stable, Doct. Fabio Ciri (agronomist and owner of the farm), will introduce and describe the guided visit of the chianina stable: the breeding system, the tecniques of feeding of the animals; the quality disciplin P.G.I. (protected geographical indication) “vitellone bianco chianino dell'Appennino centrale”;
B) SHORT VISIT OF THE FARM:
introduction on what an organic farming means; environmental problems and respect of the nature; the “mad cow” desease and the quality meat control.
C) DINNER into the restaurant of the agritourism “Le Due Torri” with a special menù with fresh products of the farm and different tastings of chianina meat.
CONDITIONS:
period A: from Easter to 30th of October every wednesday from 6:00 p.m.
rates: 40,00 euro for person; minimum 10 persons. Drinks included: mineral water and our red wine I.G.T. Umbria.
period B: from 1st of November until 31st of December and from 14th of February until Easter every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m.
rates: 40,00 euro for person; minimum 15 persons. Drinks included: mineral water and our red wine I.G.T. Umbria.
